Exhibitions, congresses, fairs
Annually, the Perm Fair conducts industry exhibitions across 50 areas: oil production, machinery manufacturing, metalworking production, civil engineering work, power industry, medicine, etc.
The Perm Fair is a venue for regional and Russia-wide forums (Perm engineering and industrial forum, all-Russian forum of national unity, Perm Krai Family forum, “Islamic world” Interregional forum of Islamic culture, etc), the participants of which include businesses, public institutions and public authorities. Exhibitions of pet animals, exhibitions and sales of food, gifts and other goods are also held here.
The history
In 1991, in the pavilion of the Exhibition of Achievements of National Economy of the Western Urals (Gagarin Boulevard, 65), the Permkombank Business Center was opened as a venue for financial services and expositions. The name “Perm Fair” appeared in 1994, and in 1995, the “Perm Fair” was accepted into the International Union of Exhibitions and Fairs (UFI).
In 1999, the Perm Fair held the first nationwide events, the Social Forum and the Venture Fair. In the same year, the Art Salon “Art-Perm” was held in Perm for the first time.
By 2016, The Perm Fair had become a permanent venue for industry exhibitions of national and international scale in 50 areas. From 2000 to 2016, The Perm Fair also hosted large-scale landmark regional and All-Russian forums (Perm Economic Forum, Perm Industrial Engineering Forum, All-Russian Forum of National Unity), pet exhibitions and popular selling exhibition.
In 2016, the Perm Fair exhibition hall opened at a new venue in the Trade and exhibition Center at Kosmonavtov Road, building 59.
